About us

A boatyard has existed at Freshwater since the late 18th century taking advantage of this sheltered, tidal spot on the banks of the Percuil River. You will be in the Carrick Roads within 5 to 10 minutes of leaving your mooring where you can choose either to go out to sea or cross the Roads to visit Falmouth or the many navigable creeks of the Fal.

Freshwater Boatyard's owner Mark Humphrey lives at the boatyard and the majority of staff live in St Mawes, between us we have a wealth of local knowledge and will do our best to make you welcome and to keep you informed of local events.  Our office is open from 09.00 and our Office Manager Anna Fortune joined our team in November 2019 and is available for any queries.

Location and Directions - Freshwater Boatyard is accessed from the first entrance to Freshwater Lane as you approach St Mawes on the A3078.
