We are back open as normal.

If you are feeling unwell please do not come down to the boatyard.

We ask you to keep 2 meters from anyone else in the boatyard. We have antibac gels in the office and workshop. 

15th May 2020-

As you are aware the restrictions on boating have been lifted. We will be starting to launch local boats from Monday 18th May 2020.If you are local and would like your boat launched feel free to email us at office@freshwaterboatyard.com and we will try to arrange it.

We continue to support the Government statement, where travelling distance to enjoy your exercise is acceptable but please note, leaving your home - the place you live - to stay at another home is not allowed, including second homes.

Thank you again for your understanding and continued patience.

Tuesday 24th March 2020-

Due to the Goverments advise we are closed for the next 3 weeks. If anything changes we will keep you updated.

Monday 23rd March 2020-

Obviously, this is a very worrying time for everyone. The safety of all our staff, contractors, and boat owners is of upmost importance to us.  For the safety of everyone we have decided to close the boatyard to customers between the hours of 8am- 5pm. We will be open from 5pm onward and on weekends.  All contractors will need to contact us before arrival.  

We are paying close attention to developments and advice from the Government and World Health Organisation. 

For anyone wanting to come down to the boatyard or anyone working at the boatyard we are asking them to follow the basic guidelines set out by the NHS and Government.

-Wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds

-Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze

-Put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards

-Avoid close contact with people who have symptoms of coronavirus

-If you have symptoms of the coronavirus, please stay at home and self-isolate

-If you live with someone who has coronavirus and has symptoms please self-isolate

-Stay more than 2 metres from others
